Is the brake sticky when you are weaving and want to advance it? I would think that you'd run into the same situation. If the friction brake does not release, then perhaps the cable needs to be slacken just a wee bit??Sarah D. I had a bad lever arm that...Glad to hear from you.. I had a bad lever arm that advanced the yarn and had to have it rewelded . To put things in order. <br />* 1. I have loom that has a tension brake that we can get to release when we warp. Our only solution is to take the wire off the brake ;thread the loom ,then we wire the brake.
